The NSC Protector SRN-432-A was a Nebula-class vessel apart of the GFAW fleet. It was created prior to the Fleet Assessment and Reorganization Project, but was inducted into the new fleet because of it's recent manufacture.
It was involved in the incident that led to the discovery of the Phoenix Virus. At the time it was under the command of Captain Gregory Alex Ross.
